    Insane flooding this afternoon in Chengdu as it just rained obnoxiously hard for a few hours. I ended up walking halfway across the city from Chunxi Lu to the south of Chengdu. When I got near my house the water suddenly was real deep! Check these photos I took. 28 buses stuck in a line on Yulin Zhonglu.

    Chengdu’s street drainage is too weak, and every summer there will be submerged a few streets

    Dude, your street looks like it was a river! Walking home today was funny, even if I did get a little bashed in.

    I think that’s enough rain for the year though!

    There was a BMW stuck with water up to its doors on Yihuan Lu at the Yiguanmiao flyover. People were climbing on the bonnet to take photos. Seemed to be a case of Chinese “schadenfraude” (sorry, probably spelt it wrong). Bie mo wo!
