    Watched part 1. Surprisingly good. Vice often goes for the shock value “look how edgy we are” angle, but this vid was well-done.

    Yeah, he demonstrates real knowledge of Chinese culture. Good to see. I didn’t know who Eddie Huang was but apparently he runs a popular Taiwanese restaurant in NYC.

    I had a friend point remark on this video.  He was mostly curious if it’s true that white people are treated like celebrities for no reason.

    Watched it and a few days later Ellen popped by the shop on a poster run.  Had a chat with her about it.

    Seemed a lot like the program itself was walking toeing the line between being harshly critical and providing positive feedback on mainland Chinese development.  Couldn’t figure it out.
