    Just a silly question about the visa processing and acceptance: I just got home from immigration office for my student visa extension and they gave me a stamped receipt to pick up the visa (and pay the 400 rmb) next week. Does this mean the visa is accepted/extended or do I have to wait until next week to find out if it was officially accepted?

    That means it was accepted/extended.
