I’m currently planning to go to Chengdu after my graduation in November. I’m looking for an international architecture firm with office in the city. I’m fluent in Chengduese, Mandarin and English (born in Chengdu) so language is not a problem.
Just wondering what are some of the opportunities that may exist there?
Tons of opportunities, I think you will have no problem. Foreign architects fluent in Chinese and English are going to absolutely kill it in mainland China over the next few years. Or at least until the real estate bubble pops (if it pops).
Cheers guys for the feedbacks. would love to get to meet you all sometime. it seems like CHengdu’s got a very active and friendly group of ‘foreigners’, which is really good to know!
