Renting 1BR on Kehua Beilu, 1.5k Rmb

As my new summer job is located a bit far away from where I currently live, I decided to leave this great location in order to live closer to my new workplace (and some of the buddies of mine).

The apartment is located immediately next to Kehua Bei Lu (科华北路), less than 5 minutes walk from Trust Mart, Jellyfish, Cafe Paname, ATT KTV, Hooters etc. 10 minutes to Shamrock. 15 minutes to Bookworm. Excellent access to the center of Chengdu. Ni Jia Qiao 倪家桥 subway station is merely 10 minutes walk away.

American Consulate is 5 minutes walk away.

The apartment itself is located on the 3rd floor of a quite old building, no luxury, no thrills. Simply a comfortable, very well located living space.

Comes equipped with a flat screen TV, AC in the bedroom, nice kitchen, tableware and cookware etc. Basically standard furnishing.

The landlady is an incredibly friendly person, she speaks very good English hence extremely easy to get along with. Once when the washing machine broke down she bought a new one immediately.

You DON’T have to pay any DEPOSIT! The reason for this is that the original ‘lease’ was signed with another foreigner, who has already left Chengdu. The landlady kept the deposit for future… 🙂 Hence that’s not something you should worry about (I didn’t have to, simply paid the rent and that was all).

Rent is payable every three months, the same system as in the vast majority of apartments in China.
