I Need an Invigilator for 11 Months

Hey all!

I need an invigilator for my MBA exams on the 4th Thursday of every month until April and I am hoping you or someone you know of, might be suitable.

They take place at either 4:00pm to 7:30pm or 6:00pm to 9:30pm (I need to confirm this with the school but I believe the latter)

The conditions are below but you must read and write English.

I welcome foreign teachers etc but please only if you are part of an actual school or university not a language centre and only if you can provide a letter or business card in your name from that school or other teaching ID  or international teaching license etc

I can pay 600 per exam.

Please note I need someone from this Thursday, June 25th onwards.

The invigilators must be one of the following categories:

– university or college examination officer or lecturer

– corporate training officer or education officer

– librarian

– minister of religion or other religious leader

– police officer

– school principal, deputy principal or teacher

– justice of the peace JP

–  solicitor

– certified practising accountant

– chartered accountant

 

The invigilator needs to:

• not be a relative, friend, or friend of the student’s family or have any vested interest in the student’s studies

• be able to speak, read and write in English, to ensure effective communication between AIB and the invigilator

• supervise and stay in the examination room for the duration of the exam

• return the completed papers within 48 hours of the examination time

• ensure that the exam is conducted in a quiet room without disruption

• ensure the exam is sat at the nominated time and date as scheduled by AIB

• ensure all requirements and instructions provided by AIB are followed

I had to look this word up, but I’m still not really clear. You need a proctor to oversee students taking exams, is that correct?

Haha… I had to look up proctor! They appear to be the same thing.

It is just for myself – only me taking the exams each month and just need someone who acts as the invigilator or proctor to receive the exam, ensure I do not see it until the start time and that I do not cheat.
