Next Custom Tailor Event?

I’m going to need a suit in December, are these events still going on? If not can someone recommend a shop and let me know how much a decent tailored suit would set me back?

Michael, the guy who organized those events, has opened a full-time custom tailor shop in Chengdu called Suit Republic. We have a post that we’re going to publish about it this week. I don’t have the exact address, but it’s in the Poly Center. I’m sure he’ll see this and post the precise info. I think the shop just opened last week though.

Hi Woodwerd,

As Charlie mentioned we have now opened a shop here in Chengdu called Suit Republic and we’re still working with the same tailors from Beijing making great quality suits and shirts.

The address is Poly Center, Building A, 1713. Same elevator as Helens, TAG and here we go.

Opening times: Wednesday to Sunday, 1pm – 9pm.

There will be a post and competition coming up on Chengdu living soon, so watch out for that too.

Does your shop also re-tailor old suits?  That is, non-Suit Republic suits?
