Playing Ice Hockey

Hello,

I just arrived in Chengdu about a month ago and I was wondering if there are anyone playing ice hockey around the city?  Would love to play, since that is the one thing that I truly miss from back home.

I don’t know about adults, but I’ve seen children play at the Global Center. If there’s an adult league, I’m sure the people who run the children’s league would know where!

I’ve seen the ice skating rink in IFS by Chunxi Road hosting both adult and kids ice hockey sessions.

Does that mean that there is an actual decent ice rink around? What about figure skating? I am dying to skate.

Do you know when their adult hockey session is?

On another note, I’ve found a group to play with at the Global Center. They play Monday and Tuesday nights. I’ll be joining them as soon as my goalie gear arrives from Canada.
