    Hi guys,

    I’m in Chengdu for a short visit. Thinking of going to one of the climbing gym (I think it’s called Mada) tomorrow. Anybody wants to go together?

    I’m not familiar with that climbing gym – have any info on it? The only one I’ve been to in Chengdu is the “Survivor” place near Carrefour in Tongzilin.

    I went to the gym in Zijing instead since it’s closer (it’s called Liu Chang zhong). It’s just a bouldering gym with a small wall of top rope.

    I checked the survivor gym you mentioned. Actually paid a visit but didn’t climb there. Was pretty disappointed but it looks like all the gyms here are like that.

    This is a post  about the gym I mentioned. Slightly better than rest of the gyms but still. I didn’t think it’s worth traveling that far.

    anyways, it looks like all the gyms in Chengdu are lack of good route setting. would like to go outdoor if possible.
