Freedur Giveaway

If you’re reading this from inside China and aren’t accessing the internet through a VPN, you should be.

With a VPN, you can access Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and everything else on the internet anonymously. After using Freedur for several months and enjoying unrestricted access to everything, we know how good it feels to browse unrestricted. With this in mind, we’re giving away 10 six-month Freedur VPN subscriptions, valued at $40 each!! More information below.

Why Freedur is Awesome

It’s cheap, easy to use, and it works great.

For $60 a year (about 1 yuan a day) you can access everything on the internet. I’ve tried other VPN’s and decided: Freedur is the best of the pack since it loads sites so quickly and seamlessly (and ad-free) that it’s easy to forget I’m using a VPN at all. The support is quick and effective and Freedur is available on Windows, Mac, and even Linux.

When you decide you want to sign up to Freedur, enter the checkout code “Chengdu Living” to get a 10% discount!

    • RSS is a way to automatically receive updates to the sites you visit most often. Normally you subscribe to a few sites and everyday you can use an RSS reader (like http://www.google.com/reader) to see updates to all those sites, instead of visiting them all manually. To subscribe, click the link to the RSS feed – either the one in the original post above or in the top right corner of the site where there’s an RSS feed for posts and another for comments. Let me know if this isn’t clear-

  3. Oh oh oh, I soooo hope I can get a subscription. I’m an American who’s been in China for nearly 4 years (Guangdong) and all my free proxies are starting to keel over. I’ve wanted to try this one out, and this looks like a great opportunity.

Btw, just found this site, and it’s great 🙂

  7. Hi,

I just registered for Freedur recently (today actually) I Paid for 1 year subscription, downloaded the Freedur application, waited for 4 hours yet I still could not access the sites blocked by the great firewall of china.
    Can you help me?

    • Hi Cindy,

It’s most likely configured wrong, because it should work immediately. If you’re using Firefox, install the Freedur extension, restart the browser, and see if that doesn’t work. If you continue to have problems I’d contact Freedur directly, I’m sure they’ll be able to help you. Good luck!
