Yeah, you’re probably right regarding the part time job. The main reason I’ll go to Chengdu is to learn Mandarin, so it might be better just to study really hard.
Regarding volunteering…what kind of places can you work as a volunteer? Do you mean for sth like an NGO or do you mean that I should work as an unpaid intern?
