@Ziich: yeah my current pad is the first one in a reasonably modern building, elevator, top (12th) floor) and i’m happy to pay a little more to be rat-free. I still have nightmares about one place i rented in Zongbei; the scurrying at night, under the bed, trying to break in through the mosquito screens, a quick glimpse of a fleeing rat bastard. Never again..
