OK I’m not really Amish, but my I.T. skills ain’t exactly cutting edge either. Anyway, need to download a heap of youtube clips onto a USB. Tried one or two free software downloads and ended up in a Hell of bloatware and 3rd party shit (I guess that’s why the software’s “free” right?). Anyone know a simple, no strings attached solution? Would be greatly obliged. Time to get back to the horses…

Add ss in the youtube url (www.youtube.com/abcde becomes http://www.ssyoutube.com/abcde).
This will redirect you to a website allowing you to download the video clip in several formats and video qualities.

firefox has a addon it puts a download button on all youtube pages. you need to go into settings and download it
