Today I forgot my travel card so purchased two tokens (tickets) to ride the BRT, one to Tonzilin and one to come back. I was pretty surprised to learn that when I tried to use the ticket I had bought in the morning to go home it wouldn’t work and I was told pretty rudely that you can’t buy tickets in advance. At the point a policeman took the ticket and told me to buy a new one. I am not gonna cry over 2kuai (although it sounds like I am) but it felt a bit odd not being able to use a ticket I had purchased that morning to save time.
Anyway kinda boring post but thought it might help anyone that plans to stock pile BRT tokens for the future.
With subway card you haven’t problems and you can recharge this when do you want 😉 usually you can buy this at metro stop from a worker that is near the exit…
I have the card you are talking about – but left it at home by mistake. Sorry just needed to have a rant!
