    Any one want to play poker but don’t wanna lose loads of money like me? We can do a casual poker nite every week or every other week. Either at a bar or at someone’s house. Anyone interested?

    I miss playing friendly poker. I’d be in. I have a small poker/mahjong table at my place, but it’s probably not suitable for more than 6 people.

    I suck at poker too. Once I played in Macau, 500HKD to buy in, I lost it in 5 mins. Ppl on the table was looking at me like I wasnt serious enuff.

    Don’t feel too bad about it, Cress. Once I lost the shirt on my back, almost my pants too if not thrown out by a couple of bouncers.

    When I saw the subject I thought this was going to be people with little kids getting together to play poker while the kids played together.

    Time: During the week or weekend

    Place: Lazy pug, Hemp House or Lan Town, Or anywhere else

    I like Wed-Fri. Though I don’t think any of those venues would be particularly good for a poker game. Hemp House just closed up half their place, Lan Town has roaches, and the Pug can be pretty busy. This might be better at someone’s home. I’d volunteer mine if I could accommodate.

    well what’s the count? I have exactly 5 chairs and cards. Just need chips and snacks and we’re good to go! (depending on the time, I have a dinner to go to Wed)

    I haven’t been there since summer, but it used to be tournament style on Saturdays (100 RMB buy-in) and cash game on Sundays (50 RMB multiple buy-ins).

    Dave is very easy going and lets you host a game for free, as long as you don’t spend 3 hours drinking 1 beer

    Yeah. I was there once. It’s so cold in winter tho. Great pizza!
