挨个儿āi ɡèér 一个接一个;依次顺序。one by one; in proper order;suc¬cessively;in turn 例:学生们站好队挨个儿上了汽车。 The students lined up and got on the bus in single file.
矮半截ǎi bàn jié 比喻低人一等;不如别人或比别人差。be inferior to others; be worse than others 例:他认为清洁工的职业并不比别人矮半截。 He doesn’t think his job as a street cleaner is inferior to others.

Alternative questions: 还是háishì & 或者huòzhě
还是(háishì) is used to offer choices and it should be thought of as (whether) or
主人:我们有咖啡,也有茶;你想喝咖啡还是(喝)茶?
Zhǔrén: wǒmen yǒu kāfēi , yě yǒu chá . nǐ xiǎnɡ hē kāfēi háishì hē chá?
Host: We have coffee and we also have tea. Would you like to drink coffee or tea?
客人:我想喝茶。
Kèrén : wǒ xiǎnɡ hē chá.
Guest :I would like to drink tea.(a)More than two options
Sometimes, more than two options are offered;还是(háishì) is used between the last two options.
你喜欢日本车、美国车还是德国车?
nǐ xǐhuan rìběn chē , měiɡuó chē háishì déɡuó chē?
Do you like Japanese cars, American cars or German cars?(b)Choosing all/none
When no choice is made, the options are either omitted or pre-posed, and 都(dōu) is used.
Learners who are English speakers should pay special attention to this word-order rule.
李:你们喜欢吃中国菜还是法国菜?
lǐ : nǐmen xǐhuan chī zhōnɡɡuó cài háishì fǎɡuó cài?
Li: Do you like to eat Chinese food or French food?

Do not confuse 还是(háishì) with 或者(huòzhě) (hudzht ‘either or ’).或者(huòzhě) is used in a statement
Since both 还是(háishì) and 或着(huòzhě)can be translated as ‘or’ in English* learners who are English speakers should pay special attention to the distinction between these two words.

指两者间属于不同档次,不能相提并论。

ParticipantHi Steven, I think this 醉了 in Chinese means 陶醉, not 喝醉, so as my opinion, I think better translation is “I probably intoxicated” or “I probably fall in love with it”
