Advice on Finding a Dog Sitter?

Hi all,

My husband and I just moved to Chengdu with two large-ish dogs (rottweiler mix and collie mix). I’m looking to potentially find some pet sitters who are willing to stay in our apartment with them when we do some traveling. Any thoughts, advice, pointing in the direction of pet-sitting networks would be greatly appreciated!

I set up a pet sitting network, it’s essentially a Wechat group where people who have pets/like animals can arrange pet sitters.

Doggie hotels are also popular in Chengdu. There’s one that opened this year in Tongzilin that looks pretty nice. It has a large open space on the rooftop that they let big dogs run around on and a smaller indoor play space for smaller dogs.
