I’d like to go see it. January 11, 2013 at 10:53 am #25536 VicParticipant it was said the stone animal was first surfaced in dujiangyan, got relocated to chengdu, then was thrown in the river for some reason, and now it has been translocated into a museum upon re-discovered when cleaning up the river recently. i’m hunting it down now…… January 11, 2013 at 1:12 pm #25542 BrianParticipant My nephew saw the report on TV and insisted it was in/near Tianfu Square. Or maybe it isn’t. January 11, 2013 at 3:57 pm #25546 SeabassParticipant The story I was also said it was Tianfu Sq. but that makes no sense. They dug that place up for 5 years, dunno how they would have missed that? Maybe it’s one of the 2 construction sites next to TFS, a museum and library? I think the background buildings match pretty well the corner ‘library’ site. I think I’ll take a look.
