Finding a Room in Chengdu?

Hello there everyone,

my name is Till and I will be living and studying in Chengdu at the SWUFE for half a year starting this september. Since I plan on living off-campus, I wanted to ask you guys and girls here what would be the best way to find a room in a (preferably) shared appartment  ? Any help would be greatly appreciated and rewarded with a nice cup of tea once I´m in Chengdu (:

To paraphrase the article: Pick which neighborhood you’d like to live in first, find some nice looking complexes in that neighborhood on the websites mentioned in the article, then go in person to inquire with the security guards.
