    New season new thread…

The Chengdu Internationl Football League will be starting a new season on March 2nd. Last season we had over 120 players from 30 different countries compete against each other but this coming season looks like the biggest yet.

With the league expanding to include a 10th team this year there is plenty of space for new players. At least 6 of the existing 9 are recruiting as well.

The American team in particular is very short on players and has a reputation to uphold as the inaugural champions.

    Kick offs are

    12.30pm -1 game

    1.50pm – 2 games

    3.10 – 2 games

Generally the ‘blockbuster’ games will be scheduled later in the day when the crowds begin to swell.

    bump…

With Eli out injured there is a distinct lack of trash talking / betting / slagging on this thread.

If anybody is interested in watching some football, this Saturday would be the time to do it. The 2 top teams in the league meet in a match that will go a long way to deciding the eventual league winner. Both teams have a 100% record after 6 games, winning by an average margin of 4 goals.
