anyone who knows a good place for taking guitar lessons?

There is a guitar classroom in Orchard Villas, East Tongzilin Road. The name of the fonder(also one of the teachers)is Wang Ying(王鹰). He is one of the best guitar teacher even expert in Sichuan.Many Chinese guitar players know him. A lot of his students got good award in guitar competitions.

Or you can try the instrument shops near the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, they both sell and teach guitar.

But I am not sure wether the teachers could speak English.

If you’re at an intermediate level, Jah Bar located near Wanli Hao (the giant fake boat) has open jam sessions every night.
