Hello,
I just moved to Chengdu from New York this week. Can any recommend where to learn Chinese? I’m thinking between Chinese Corner and Mandarin Club.
Also, looking to meet new people! If anyone is free on weekdays/weekends let me know 🙂

Mandarin Club is definitely a good place to start for learning Chinese. I’m friends with the owner, Su, who is possibly the most bubbly and friendly Chinese girl I’ve met here.
@Nicole: Come out to the CD Living dinner get together next week!
September 20, 2012 at 9:06 am #21397ValerieMemberGood to know that I’m not the only beginner! Yes, very difficult. As I am learning, my brain keeps interjecting Spanish words as well! Haha, I said ” Yo de ming ze llamo Valeria” the other day, it was awful, but my friends died laughing. Look forward to seeing ya’ll there!
