Looking for a Room!

Hi everybody!

I’m moving to Chengdu in the next month. I will be working for a company in the Tianfu Software Park and I’m looking for a room in a shared apartment!

I’m an Italian girl but I studied in the UK. I’m friendly and openminded. It’s my first time in Chengdu, so I would like to live with other expat or with Chinese who speaks English. I hope to find flatmates with whom I can also hang out and visit China a bit!

I tried to find websites with housing announcements but it seems so difficult to find an apartment in this area! Could you recommend any websites or do you have any room available in your house? Let me know! My email: [email protected]

Welcome to Chengdu! Unfortunately there aren’t any great English language sites to search for roommates in Chengdu, and if you’re looking for English language apartments, your options are basically insanely priced apartments targeted at foreign executives. It might be worth asking your employer if they can help, either set you up with a reasonably priced apartment or with a roommate.

I work in the Software Park also and although there is housing in that area, I recommend looking for something a little further north, closer to Chengdu. Life is much more interesting there.
