    Hey guys,

I was wondering if some of you managed to play online with the US or Europe on their PS3 ?

I would think that this would be theoretically possible if connected to a laptop w vpn on as a network bridge, though your ping would be terrible. No actual experience though.

Thanks Chris. Yep I also think that the ping will be awful but I wanted to try. A friend of mine didn’t manage… I’ll try to take a look at this this week end.

It will work. You don’t need a VPN and you can set your region to Asia in the console settings and be connected to people in Hong Kong and Taiwan which will make it much faster. Or set it to Europe or US, but your ping might be high for games like Call of Duty, etc.

I just wanted to play with some friends so I won’t play with HK/Taiwan people. Yep I wasn’t considering CoD, more FiFa 🙂

On my PC (at work) it works perfectly. (CoD, L4D, TF2…)

PS3 will work the same way, no problem.
