    it had happend in shanghai a couple years ago that they banned unplated moped all together. and all gas station stopped sell petorl to riders, beard or not.

    even in that kind of situation you can still get petrol from shops that repair motorbike.

    Like the rain it comes and goes… two weeks ago a lot of police were pulling bikes, because the big cheese was in town. You probably don’t need to worry until around the holiday period.

    Yep.. my buddy with his mini motorbike got fined exactly at that time for not having a valid motorcycle license.

    How much was that fine? and with valid motorcycle license, you mean the drivers license or license plates on the bike?

    Has plates on bike – I meant no motorcycle driver’s license, fine was 1000rmb (he said 1k, maybe +/- a bit in actuality)
