    Hi,

    We r a family which will arrive to Chengdu Mid-March.

    I was told I could find laptops cheaper in China- sounds reasonable.

    But I can not find any on-line computer shops to have a look at the prices.

    Any ideas?

    Computer city has everything. Check that place out, corner of 1st ring road and ren min nan lu. for prices check taobao.com

    It depends on which country you and from and which brand you intend to purchase. Also how long do you intend to stay in China. Many warranties only cover the purchase region.

    360Buy is excellent. It’s kind of like Newegg in the states. Really cheap and reliable if you don’t want to shop on Taobao for whatever reason.
