You might find this interview quite interesting.
I was rabbiting on to anybody within earshot about it last night. Expect the music to be really, really, really loud. This isn’t a gimmick or a joke, I think we’ll be selling earplugs at the door.
March 11, 2012 at 11:49 am #17850AMParticipantHe’s playing Shanghai the night after Chengdu. They’ve came up with another amazing looking poster
March 11, 2012 at 12:58 pm #17851RayParticipantSounds awesome. interesting that he’s worked with Godflesh. Although being an industrial/metal band, they also released some dub versions of their songs (one whole album, i think, maybe “Songs of Love and Hate”?). One of my favorite bands as a teenager! Anyway, i’m psyched about The Bug’s gig here. Loud? Awesome, but i want bass that kicks you in the chest…..can’t wait!
BTW: that flyer is killer….

I think I’ve mentioned before, he is very picky about the sound. The soundcheck will be lengthy and he’ll have the sound system tweaked to sound as heavy as possible.
From his tech rider
“Maximum bass pressure is ESSENTIAL for a Bug performance.”
hehehe

March 12, 2012 at 1:27 pm #17861RayParticipantFrame that flyer. It’s a keeper.
