This has been asked for before. Here’s an interesting review to help you create your website or choose a host:
How did GoDaddy end up at #2? I am dubious of this list for that alone.
Hosts I would recommend:
If you can afford it: MediaTemple
If you want a “budget” host that’s still good: HostGator, Bluehost

Yes, about GoDaddy I agree with you but people speak good about JustHost and iPage.
Just registered for 1 year iPage, total price 24 euro…
