    .. and where?

I’m not really a party type, however started feeling I do need to get out and meet people, make some more friends. I’m not after a dancing club, pub & bar scene would be just fine. I’ve heard Shamrock is a good place, anyone in Shamrock tonight? Other options?

BTW I’m North European, over 30.

Brendan is a huge Shamrock fan, you will probably see him there. It’s worth checking our for sure, welcome to Chengdu Anna. I don’t think you’ll have any trouble meeting people there.

Another place to check out is Machu Picchu which is about a 15 minute walk from Shamrock.

    My answer to that is:

No (They do have a real Kilkenny license plate behind the bar though! Wowee, ahem)

No (But not worst pint ever in history – that honour goes to the old Kitty O’Sheas’ in Beijing’s defunct south bar street – what was I thinking!!!????)
