There’s a HUGE QR code set up at every bus stop. I haven’t scanned it yet, but I think it’s supposed to provide a map and estimates about when buses are arriving.
I heard a co-working spot called “Walnut” opened up. Here’s their website. There’s no physical address posted. Anyone got any info? Thanks

To paraphrase the article: Pick which neighborhood you’d like to live in first, find some nice looking complexes in that neighborhood on the websites mentioned in the article, then go in person to inquire with the security guards.

Not sure what kind of scruples you have, but eating out is gonna be tough as a vegetarian since many vegetable dishes are cooked alongside meat or in meaty oils. If you’re cooking at home. Just wash your fruits and veggies thoroughly and you’ll have few problems. For info on particular markets in particular areas, this forum is a good place to ask your questions.

Dave’s Oasis and Shamrock were popular years ago, not so much now. I’d head to Beer Nest or somewhere else in south Chengdu. Shamrock patrons are not the most representative of the expat scene in Chengdu.
What’s the format of this event? Will there be an authority/sexpert on the subject attending and fielding questions, or will it be an open conversation?
Adorable little pup with a collar on ran into a cafe on Consulate Road between Kehua Beilu and Renmin Nanlu today. Owner hasn’t come here looking for it for the past hour. What are my options for paying bills with Alipay? I recharged my phone with it (sweet), but what about internet, utilities, etc? Transportation card?
Looking for cheaper razors and deodorant than one would find at Carrefour or Trustmart. Now I’m starting to think I just just invest in a straight razor and whetstone. Best deal I found was this pack of 30 2-blade razors for less than 30 kuai. Stick deodorant I’m having less luck with.
My brother has a buddy in Afghanistan. The buddy really likes asian girls. He’s white and really honest and smart. I think he’s about 36. Hey Gennina! I did it through Globy Pet Relocations back in 2012 and they were super helpful and professional. If cost isn’t a factor, they are the way to go.
Doing a bit of research, I found out that Ruby – the girl at Globy who was our point person throughout the process – is now working at Petcare Movers. Ruby was really great to work with and so if Globy Pet Relocations isn’t working for you, I would check out Petcare Movers.
