I have mentioned in earlier posts that I will be arriving in Chengdu on August 2011 to study at a school…so I am currently working on getting a student visa. However, I would like to also find work as a teacher or trainer. Should I instead try to get a work visa? Which one would allow me the most flexibility?

I am moving to Chengdu in August 2011 to attend a university to study for my second master’s degree. I already have a master’s degree in Operations Management. With my business background, I could help adult students learn English within a business framework, if necessary. My classes will primarily be on Saturdays, so I will have my weekdays free. I am looking for opportunities like this to make extra income.

Is this something that would work for me? I can send you my information when needed for our discussion.

Good advice. Really that is just about the way to do it in every country even the US. Building a professional network is valuable.
