    @Emillerer55

NFL Gamepass. That will help ur addiction. And better than being home only able to watch a few games a week.  Had it since for the last 8 years, it’s great.

Wanted to revive this thread with more recent news and info, anyone??

Around Chengdu or in Sichuan (probably West Sichuan, I assume). Found this site on the forum, looks very informative.

I second Bi Feng Xia. Don’t forget the Panda Center and Shangli? old town.  Been there a ton of times (lived in ya’an).  We’re planning to stay there this summer for a week or so.

You could stay in the Old Town, or at the tourist hotel next to the zoo and panda reserve, or in Ya’an itself. Small town with a river running through it. Great food and generally cheaper overall than CD.  Buses run there, 2 hours.  Definitely could make it a weekend. One day at the zoo and one day with the Pandas, hanging out or sleeping at Shangli Old Town.

Thx for the Huayang Ocean World tip Rick. Drove by it the other week, didn’t even know it was there.

    Hey everyone,

I have a question that may be simple, forgive my ignorance.

I downloaded the app for the aqicn site, and there is one measurement called the Ozone Aqi that I am not clear on. Usually it’s the pm 2.5 that most worry about, but what is the Ozone Aqi?

I wonder about this because once in awhile even if the pm 2.5 and 10 is low, the Ozone aqi is very high, and I wonder if that is a high risk concern that would warrant taking precautions.

@Charlie or Matt, or anyone else

It was mentioned  that the Samo Air does not measure the 2.5pm. Is there another alternative for this that would be cheaper than the Dylos?

Yea Turtle, us too. We couldn’t find prices for that place, tried calling…heh.

Move on to the next one. Though, I also have the same concern as u about these places, whether they are growing or distributing…and even if they grow, how trustworthy are there “certs”?  TIC, u know?

Would hate to pay 2 or 3 times as much for the same quality. I’m a skeptic as u can tell. That’s one reason why I thought it might be fun/good to plant myself, or find a plot that we could plant.  Perhaps this way one could know the conditions of the soil and what is given to the plants, i.e. growth, pesticides, etc.

    Thanks Talhem,

I now don’t run the cannon at night. Hopefully will be fine. The other fans, run 24/7, no problem.

Question, my wifey was searching the website and said something about Charcoal Filters now?

Thank you Kim and Turtle so much. This was something I was looking for. Wifey and I have been checking out their sites and looking into this.

    Thanks again!

I have three of these, one cannon. It died after 5 months. I generally replace the filters every couple of months. I ran the cannon 24/7 about half the time, when not 24 hours it ran from morning to bedtime.

I contacted the company and the American was very gracious re: my problem but suggested that it was the (dirty) filter being on too long that caused the motor to die. Both reps from the company stated that my issue was very rare.

So my point is, if in fact my dirty filter caused the engine to die, than perhaps following their suggestion may not be the wisest decision.

Who knows, maybe I just was unlucky.

Woodwerd, there is a discussion re: this on the Chengdoo. Might be some info there, and from what I remember, the CID was something that made the delivery not get held up in customs, me thinks…but I don’t recall exactly since we have a CID.
