I think youre better off to set a price per person upfront, and just hustle to get the numbers that you need to cover the costs. People will be more willing to rsvp for it if they know how much it will cost.

@Zharahk – The Mooneys event will have the US stream – the NFL is actually sanctioning the event (and providing a few lucky draw prizes) – so it will definitely have the US commercials, as well as the US commentary.
A guy on my soccer team reached out to me yesterday looking for some work. He is a very nice guy from Nepal, studying medicine at Sichuan University. His English is pretty flawed, so I don’t think that I can get him any teaching work.
Maybe he would be willing to take care of your cats for a little bit of money.
I don’t know if he would be interested. I don’t know if he could take the cats at his place, or if he would want to stay at your place, or just stop by and feed them, but maybe you guys could work something out.
Ive known him for a year or two, and I can attest that he is a very very nice person. I would go so far as to say that he has a beatific disposition.

This is more of a ‘does he like me?’ and/or a ‘do I like him?’ question.
The answer to the ‘is there true friendship between genders’ question is, as Billy correctly put it, yes, as long as there is no attraction. That does not seem to apply in this case.
The answers to the questions ‘does he like me?’ and/or a ‘do I like him?’ are not things that strangers on the internet are well positioned to answer for you, but the likely answers seem to be yes, and yes.
