Usu there were singers and bands. Maybe they will be cut off during the gala. Coz of lack of communication bewteen me and the club owner friend. sorry if I made it sound like a mess.
I am a bad poster, I know. And the club owners have bad ideas.
But who cares, if you want free drinks and watch a circus you are all welcome to come.
Club closed SAturday to Tuesday. ANy other days club is open and you are welcome to come with a group. Maybe if you speak good Chinese you can give them some suggestions. So many of us tried to advise the owners. all failed..
Now Iam only laughing to myself why I am helping them for nothing.
Snowflakes and fireworks is from roof top25 th floor, you can see then while u r sitting in the club, the Chinese drama are only short performance and they are still deciding who shows they will use. But lion dance is definitely working checking out

The club owners cut off my performance–pole dancing. They are not dead dancers. They dance with souls and passion. The only reason I wanted to go there at Fridays. Now there are no dancers it’s being a little bit boring.
This Fridays big party won’t be dead boring. And there would be cocktails. Not just beers.
Shows: lion dance, Sichuan opera( face changing), musical calligraphy, sugar painting,fireworks, snowflake, Chinese singers&bands sing Chinese and western music,
Ok. I have to say Sorry I don’t have much time for blogging so forgive me if I am a poor English speaker

Before I forget. The SKY CLuB is on the roof top they will play some fireworks from roof top and some fake snowing so if you want to capture some good fireworks from the roof top on your phone or camera it should be fun!

They have waffles and some cheap good stuff!

7/11 has good imorotanted Wines also achoholic drinks from different parts of China. This one weird herbal achoholic drink I love about! Its better than fake wiskey with gross sweet tea in the clubs.

Jazz is baaaaaaack!
Just recently I have been clubbing. Went to a New Club(the MIu Club) with friends three times on Lan Kuai Fong specifically opened for filthy rich Chinese people(暴发户Bao Fa Hu). There are international performances and bands, Chinese and international djing/sunging/whatever, but most people were just sitting there being bored, Chinese ppl playing dice and drinking drunk, everything is so hi–so. If you are filthy rich you feel privileged and having face, but as for me, I couldn’t afford even the cheapest beer or cocktail.
have yourself some pre club drinks, grab beers or vodkas or Chinese spirits(Bai jiu) from WOWO or seven eleven. Then go with a group to clubbing! If u buy a table(go Dutch), drinks are lame maybe not enough for everyone so maybe u can grab some vodka or whisky or cheap chinese baijiu and hide in yr winter jacket.
KTVs has cameras and watch dogs if you bring your own drink they will make fool of you. They cut off our songs, but clubs I think don’t really care as long as you are paid to have table.
For me, I would rather to go to a little bar, listen to a real rock bands(good bands) not young school bands, I would rather spend my money on that, cheesy commercial bands and performances let the filthy rich pol throw their money to the club owners!
This friend from sky club is asking me to do him a favor again. So here is the thing:
ALL FORIGNERS WHO GO TO SKY CLUB GET FREE COCKTAILS/beers during the whole Chinese new year party/Gala. There would befolk art performance, face changing Sichuan opera, musical calligraphy and also cheesy Chinese bands singing chinese and western pop songs.
No need to text. Anyone. Just go there this Friday and have yourself some free drinks and be happy and drunk. If you want to save your money for drunks for better bars and clubs!
I tried my best to advise them to cut off the cheesy singers and bands, and bring some jazz musicians and rock bands but it didn’t work out. their main target clients are filthy rich Chinese people who don’t know shit about music.

They have bees in there( pretty girls and good looking gay boys) but they are only talking to rich chinese customers. They are more space to move around and dance…

Tian Kong Ju Le Bu aks Sky CLub( when u gets off taxi at the bus station in front of KFC Auchan close to ikea, you look up the building(GOME home appliance store) you see big blue beam/flash light coming out from roof top.
If you are a lonely goer, text my friend Hong Hao, 151 1196 5696, tell him you are AJ ‘s frend and you would love to get free beers or cocktails( I am sure beers are not fake). In Chinese or simple English.
And other foreign guests and friends will help you get there at Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays, Sundays.
Rick is right about the Chinese clubs…The problem too many clubs and bars in Chengduis investors just open a club without any notice or without thinking how long will it even last, Then it tuned out to be a bad invest then they got into some other biz.
My friend is Co-running the club with some other investors but he is more into music (he is even a jellifish goer at Wednesdays and Thursdays). I would say his club is less boring than the others. And they do not force you to buy a dozen of beers. They drinks are slightly expensive but foreigners comes with friends get free flowing beers. And the shows are not so bad.
I am trying to persuade him to use better djs.

Get a taxi to take you to the bus station next to Auchan In front of KFC, cross the street( there is a bus station and a parking sign). Walk through the gate. Ask the security about the sky club( 天空俱乐部）or the hotel front desk about the elevator to 24th floor.
Its not easy to find. I got lost when I went first time. When you walk passing by the hotel lobby( outside) you see an entrance and there is your elevator..
If a group of foreign guest are coming I can show you there, so next time you will find your own way:)
The shows starts 8:30, so if you don’t want to miss something go there about 8:30 or 9, if you go too late there won’t be no shows just club music some Chinese people drinking or playing dice.
Weekends are more busy..
There are STD carriers everywhere you go! not just in Paname and jellifish. And I believe that most people that have active sex life had std experience.. unless you are a sex free person…
I am worrying that chengdu has too many international bars and it is hard to stop std transporting…
Chinese schools don’t give their students enough sex lessons.. young folks don’t know enough about protections and precautions that they should take and use.

They don’t play Justine Bieber and lady gaga anymore. They play pop stuff with bad mix. Or simply same stuff over and over again even if there is a dj working there…same day, same music, never change.
Sorry If I mentioned the words “dogs”. For me it is just an expression with my kind of humor no personal attacking not racism.
I was inspired by the ” who let the dogs in” song that was frequently played in most bars years go. I hope the bars don’t play that again I pray…
Best way to avoid the crazy crowds is non Fridays or saturdays. But you cannot Change what they play can you??
Of course it is a foreigners active bar, every foreigner in chengdu knows that.
If you can stand the crazy loud bad mixed teen music that can rape your heart out…if you can stand the pushing/ squeezing at weekends(you have to do kong fu fighting to find your standing room).
We do not use bad words and we are not bashing, we are just talking about the truth…
If they change a little, if they use better djs, play some decent music that don’t drive you crazy and don’t let so many crazy dogs in the crowded bar( it is inhuman if you let so many people in in such a tiny place) I will go there a lot and I will firstly recommend this bar to new comers!
