Just checked paypal (since i sold items on ebay). It seems that est date when funds will be avail are nearly 10 business days. I guess when using this, its best to plan ahead. Not sure if this is the case when transferring from banks in China to Paypal. Can someone who done this check if the availability of funds?

This is a GREAT resource! Will take advantage of this when i get there next week!

Minus the 3 day wait (for funds to be ready), this is probably the cheapest way of sending money.

Is the G3 stick reliable in China? I might get one for my laptop. During breaks at work, ill just pop it in and use it to check on trades. Is that or get an android tablet. Just need to be able to see trades with reliable internet service.

    Food for thought:

China needs to create 25 million new jobs per year.

The inland/farmland is always in supply of low wage workers.

Yet within the farmland/inland, there are just the elderly and young kids, no one will keep the farmland.

The different ‘class,’ born in cities, are always going to have more perks than those who comes to the cities for opportunities (health care, insurance ect ect).

Statistically, this is a bad sign.

I’m on the same line as the thread starter! Thanx for the top 10 places to check out, coming through it, and within 2 weeks, ill be over there!

For me, my first thing to do is get to know my employers…. Then after that, get in contact with Jamie and start training!

I might be having second thought prior to hopping on that plane, but meh, rather do something new than stay in the same place.

    Quick question:

Looks like i’m going to get a scooter. Are the prices there good? Should i get a used one instead of new one? I’m most likely going to get a gas guzzler scooter. Do I still have to get a license for it?

Also, should i get chain and locks for it?

I have within 3 weeks to get everything i need to go there, my current checklist coincides with the luggage limit the airline stipulates.

2 luggage at 50 LBS each and one carry on bag, 15 lbs limit.

It rarely snows there, so i doubt temps can be vary low there. Ill just bring one sweater just in case.

Essentials are def extra small photos, similar to that on your passport.

Well, to be honest, that book has some good info/read. If you google/youtube Doulce New Mexico, allot will come up. Some funky like ‘Alien hybrid, Norse god, reptile being’ type stuff.. Which.. Are out there, even for my taste. But the book i liked has a ‘realistic’ feel to it.

The base in Chengdu is top secret, if it exists that is. Allot can come into play, how above sea level is Chengdu, how indepth is the airforce base and what not. With the fact that Pakistan gave China the down plane from the OBL raid, this might either be supportive to the underground base or debunks it. Since the ‘stealth’ material is essentially ‘UFO.’ And it takes years for China to develop it.

But yea somethings a brewin and i wouldnt want to stay near cities when it does heh.

Page 2 (follow links) has that sentence about Chengdu being the biggest underground base. But nothing more than that. Its a good read, you can do some background research on the matter, kinda adds up.
