Hmm…. Not to mince words or anything, but in a book in regards to underground bases, Chengdu is supposedly the ‘mother’ of all UFO underground bases.

Is there a constant ‘humming’ or ‘hissing’ that is not tendinitis, which is from an unknown origin?

Thank you Sascha! Yea i might be jumping the situation with a motorcycle. A scooter was something i looked at as well. It seems very viable to get and snazzy to ride (never rode one before). Whats the price/range of scooters?

Just reading on HakkaHomes, is this place a good place to dock down as an apt? Also, with its prices, does it include all utilities? Or is that separate?

Sounds like he knocked her up and left the bill. Not sure how hard it is to be a single mother in china, let alone having a ‘colord’ kid.

Also same note, what are the methods of converting USD to RMB? My bank offers 0.1674, but the current rate is around .15 or something.

Which means that for every 100 dollars i convert, they take 7.5! Too much really. Adds up quick! Ill try to convert 2k if not 1k.

Is it possible to use my debit bank card in china as well?

Ill ask my rep within the month. Hopefully it works the other way, yea thats the issue i got too, goes from US to china.

Bank of China has a branch in NYC, Bocusa. But the bad thing is that its a separate entity vs bank of china in china. Meaning cant have the account linked or able to exchange rmb to usd.

Noted: bring a year supply of Omega 3-6-9!

I always was an advocate of Omega’s. Sux its essentially 30usd per 3 months. It can be highly inflated over in China.

Wonder if its a possibility to open a supplement shop there.

Thanx for the bottle water info! Stuff like these are very key and important!

So putting money into a bank account home seems to be very implausible or allot of red tape?

I been looking into this as well, some say do the Western Union route (which can be a hassle as described above) and going to the bank can be more trouble than its worth (if you dont have a bank account), but how about mailing the money home?

Overall there are limited ways to send money back to ones bank account. This is a problem i’m looking deeply into as well.

Has anyone have an account with Bank of China? Are they prevalent in Chengdu? Reason i’m asking is that they have a international sponsorship with my bank, Wells Fargo, which can make transaction (to and from with China) easier, wire transfer only. Damn those student loans and credit card debts!

Not sure if anyone is able to get this a good try, but on gochengdu site, someone posted that ‘hotspot shield’ is a good vpn virtual server.

I have it on my computer (for war craft) but since im not in china yet, i do wnat to test this out. Its free, and the ads blow, but once its off, the ads dont bother you (but that damn down server page they have sux).

My reasoning, spending 2k rmb gets to save some money for myself. To help off debts at home (student loans and what not). Since the currency ratio of rmb/usd is getting better, i might be able to spend more heh. But yea, i guess 2k a month is on the cheap side of things.

    I like @3li4s post! 30 bux a day= 600 a month! Probably more pending on weekends.

Now the true questions are being missed… Do hot women go to the gym? I’m, sadly to say, a gym rat….. Work out, do my thing and look at the women and admire their beauty (since they work out, they want to be noticed). But sadly its always more dudes than not… Is it the same over there?
