DanielleParticipant
I’m reviving this – most of the gyms mentioned in here discussed weights and getting ripped like the dude in the picture above; I am currently content with my one-pack. I’m actually just looking for a cheap, decent gym with some treadmills and stationary bikes, maybe some classes too. And a shower that has doors over the stalls. :/
So the main points here are: cheap, reasonably clean, treadmills. And somewhere in the Yulin area. Any help would be awesome!
DanielleParticipantChris – my co-worker has Aipu and said it is painfully slow. Probably not worth it.
DanielleParticipantawesome, will be there tomorrow night then. thanks for organizing this.
DanielleParticipant7 – from my understanding the new restaurant in place of Greenery sells seafood congee or something like that. Bummer!
DanielleParticipantNetworking mostly. Nothing too exciting.
DanielleParticipantcool, i’m in for this thursday. what time?
DanielleParticipantBrendan – I had to go for work. The lobby looked pretty nice, I didn’t get to see too much of the building (well, what has been completed) but they did have display suites set up that were gorgeous. The interior design company is from Singapore so I think it will be pretty top notch. By top notch I mean not look like the interior of 88 Club.. I hope the Atrium does really well as the TS bigwigs were super cool!
DanielleParticipanti’d be interested. mushroom hotpot sounds good!
DanielleParticipantIf you’re talking about their new project, The Atrium, I was actually at the opening ceremony.. looks like it will be a pretty fantastic development.. Don’t think they’ve sold any property yet – from my understanding they still had different real estate offices pitching them for business.
DanielleParticipantI don’t even remember going home so kudos, gentleman.

It’s all Nando’s and wanky cafes. All of the eastern suburbs have pretty much gone the same way apparently. West of the CBD is where it’s at now – Footscray, Yarraville, Kensington etc.
sorry this was totally off topic.
I do love Yulin though. Yulin market on a Saturday morning is the best place in the world.

DanielleParticipantonly going if there’s chivas and green tea.
DanielleParticipantchris, is this the hotpot/chocolate mystery shots gang?
DanielleParticipantare drinks free too with a costume?
to begin with, i mean.
and if not then obviously please count me in.
DanielleParticipantcan’t wait!
DanielleParticipantThe only costumes I’ve seen so far have been on Shanxi Lu, the first road south of Tianfu Square (runs west off Renmin Lu). The are a whole bunch of shops that rent and sell mostly Chinese traditional costume stuff, however I did see a few monster masks, some pretty crazy wigs and an array of over the top dresses, suits, etc. You gotta take a couple hours to look carefully through each shop, I think. One of the stores – I think it was #106? was a bit bigger and had full animal costumes and lots more variety. Worth checking out.
Have also heard Metro carries Halloween stuff seasonally.. not sure if it’s true though. Maybe WalMart too?
Disco Death at Panda on Friday night – think it will be Halloween-y. Also heard Jellyfish is doing a Halloween party somewhere by a lake or something on Sat. No idea if this is true. But could be sick!
Worst comes to worst there’s always the Twilight movie fest at Regal Master!!!!
DanielleParticipantwhy would you need your passport..?
DanielleParticipanti actually thought it was jah bar this whole time til i checked. imagine if we’d both gone to two totally wrong places hahhaa
DanielleParticipantit’s actually at hemp house at 9.30 tonight..
