NFL Game Pass works throughout the playoffs, the only catch is after that period ensure you cancel or else you pay their asking price for the remainder of the playoffs plus superbowl.

I watch them on Best T.V. sports channel and sometimes on channel 190. You can also obtain a 7 day free NFL Game pass to view.

I would for sure drive in the DU once it arrives, i would just drive at the same speed underneath it in order to avoid all the intellect zombies on the road via automobiles and scooters.

You hit the nail on the head. They aure are doing a big push with the street vendors, i have “vendor patrols” on every street corner. Sure would be better to see a big push when it comes to people parking their cars on side walks, bus lanes, and/or monotoring cross walks so that when i’m given the green light i can walk safely in the cross-walk.

    Shipping options:

    1. Place the books into an additional suitcase/luggage bag, therefore your just being charged for an additional bag which go’s for around $25-$100 ( airline dependant) as long as you don’t exceed a certain weight limit restriction which varies by airline. Benefit, the books arrive with you.

    2. Combine the bike, books, and what ever else you may have into a large box and ship via cargo, possibly with the same airline your flying and/or another airline like Korean Air. The fee for this varies as shipping items via cargo are calculated utilizing total square cubic inches/cm and weight. When measuring ensure you round up to the nearest whole number as this greatly affects the price. The best thing to do is to obtain these dimensions and weight and contact the airline(s) directly to obtain a quote. Going this route you will be responsible for getting the box to the airlines cargo department (located near the airport at one of those logisitical facilities), you can select a departure date and they can provide an estimate arrival date. Again you could get lucky and have this on the same plane your traveling on.

The downside: shipping via cargo it will more than likely go through customs on the receiving end, possibly expect a day or two for processing (you can contact the customs agency on the receiving end now to confirm the process). During this process custom will determine if any duty fees are required, more than likely not as long as it’s just personal items.  Also you will be responsible for picking up the items from customs and delivery from there to the final destination. One very important thing to ask customs when you contact them is do they charge a holding fee and if so how much per day and is there an automatic holding period (i.e. 1, 2, or 3 days…).

Again, the best approach for this is to contact the sources directly for the best possible outcome thus by contacting the airlines you can be provided with other options or best alternatives.

    Hope this helps !

    Agree with Charlie,

However, 4 days is really really too short; you will be cutting yourselves quite short and departing the area with just a taste of the “DU”.

Toddlers walking around with slits in the rear-end for quick application in order to urinate and/or deficate onto sidewalks, streets, and/or near by trash recepticles.

Pedesterian crossing–it’s always a challenge to cross the street and never safe even though you have a green light. Auto drivers are reluctant to apply the brake pedal. Even though it seems like the flow of traffic actually works in the end, at the same time all the craziness on the streets are actually illegal/unauthorized per China’s drivers handbook/exams.

    Spitting-it’s everywhere

Starring–not just at me but primarily at what i’m carrying in my plastic bags (i.e. grocery store bags, outlet mall/mall shopping bags)

Adults with children will most of the time try to have their child say hello to me even though they have never seen a foreigner before.

Street vendor patrol–this one is a joke, paid civil servants will patrol the streets chasing off fruit & veggie vendors. This becomes a cat & mouse game everyday as when the vendors are chased off they just cruise around the block returning back to their previous concession spot. For all of those who are unaware of this practice, this is for all those street vendors who are selling items without a permit.

Automobiles parked ontp sidewalks and lawns.

China driver’s exam–for those of you who dont know passing the road test is a real bear for the local. They have have to pass the road test in a vehcile equiped with a standard transmission (not automatic transmission), cameras are placed near your feet to evaluate your feet operating on the pedals, hand position, speed/RPM’s & etc). During the road test you have to shift gears smoothely and shift gears within designated distances and at such & such RPM.

Refreshments stored in a warm cooler.

    Hot water served with meal.

Fine bones getting caught between my teethe during specific meals.

Cigarettes lit up in elevators, at restaurants, in hotels (almost everywhere) even though a smoking sign is starring the culprit right in the eyes.

Talking on the cell phone. You can hear others conversations from the back to the front of the bus, train, subway.

Sleeper Train–you can have a reserved lower bunk on the train and lord behold others will be sitting on that bad boy when you ariive (recently i had to have people removed).

Express train–always someone sitting in my desginated seat. People will purchase a cheaper ticket (stand-up ticket) and sit in the unaccupied seats.

Sales people at shops/malls–these are normaly youn unexperienced peoole who will sell you just about anything just to make sale/commission.

Traffic police–occassionaly will be directing traffic from the side of the street versus being in charge and controlling from the center.

Work projects–occassionally i will have vendors arrive to perform projects are the house, you have to watch the workiers as they will quickly jerry-rig the door frames, windows being hung and etc. One dude installed the bathroom exhause fan upside down.

Your only coming for a year, i would just pack lite then. If you were here longer than i would suggest more items (i.e. i have all my 110 voltage items with converters here with me). As far as really needing something you can pretty much find it here, i do alot of shopping on taobao.com  & jd.com, now i dont have to really travel heavy every quarter.
