We are finishing up the decorating of our new apartment, and hoping to move in by the end of this month. We also hired a builder like Rick did. We did all the design work and told him what we wanted. He told us what we needed to buy, and he either did the work or coordinated the people we hired to do some of the work (such as the tiling, AC/Heating, etc…). We got lucky and found this builder who figured out that if he did a great job and didn’t cheat us he would get recommendations for more business. He doesn’t speak English, but I can provide his contact info if you would like.

We found a Japanese restaurant that’s not too bad. I think the name is Tsukishima. To get there take the Metro to the High Tech Zone, go out entrance A, walk about 50 meters straight ahead, take your first left after the Tasty Restaurant, then the next left, and it’s on the left about 3 restaurants down. The phone number is 028-85255829 if you want better directions. The speak good Japanese, but their English is so-so.

Oh, they have a pretty good selection of sake.

Usually the Super Bowl broadcast at Shamrock doesn’t have the US commercials. I wonder how Mooney’s is doing that, and I wonder if Shamrock will be doing that this year also.

Shamrock usually has beer/tequila shot specials that morning too.

Would definitely like to try Yu’s Family Kitchen sometime, but can’t this Sunday. Let me know if you all plan to go another Sunday.

I wonder if it might be easier to divorce her, and then remarry after all the paperwork is done for the purchase.

I have not seen the academic response to the book, but it doesn’t surprise me there would be some. Most academic types tend to be of a marxist bent anyways, and many of them think highly of Mao and other marxist dictators. Usually if these types of people come out against a book I’m more inclined to read it.

I really liked Mao: The Unknown Story, but it is not something you can read in one sitting. Too much horror to take all at once. It is banned in China, but sometimes Bookworm has it.

I’m going to have to check that place… after I buy one of those little refrigerators for the extra space I’ll need.

    Valerie,

It sounds like you might like the Hash Harriers. They are a nice bunch of drunk people. You can find info about them at http://www.pandahash.com/home_web.html.

I also live near the Hi-Tech Metro. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the area.

Oh, he is not ruined… I just geared him up wrong. For some reason I was thinking he was a tank, so started beefing up his strength instead of his dexterity. ::facepalm:: Anyways, he can use the gear that’s on my demon hunter. No big deal for such a lowbie character.

I wouldn’t mind starting my monk over again. I geared him wrong, and am still trying to figure out how to do combos correctly. Actually, I could start any of my characters again.

Seems like an optimal group for inferno would be a barbarian (tank), monk (heal, buff), wizard (AoE damage), Demon Hunter (single target damage). Although, a 4 person Witch Doctor group would be hilarious with all those pets all over the place! Everyone would need good graphics cards for that though. 🙂

Maybe my level 15 monk, Rick’s level 18 barbarian, Charlie’s level 12 Witch Doctor, and Jerry’s new Demon Hunter can play together. Hehehe!
