2014 update: for the time being, I have stopped taking daily photos of the Chengdu sky, as the pollution in Chengdu has normalized. For the first three months of the year the pollution was exceptionally high and I wanted to document that. If an event like that happens again in the future, I will continue doing this\u00a0again.<\/em><\/p>\n 2015 update:\u00a0The Air Quality in China website has published a great guide on comparing actual pollution levels with the presence of haze which you can read here<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n Sometimes I take photos of the Chengdu sky from my rooftop before leaving for my office. This page is for collecting those. All of these are taken at 8:30am and are between first and second ring road, looking north.
