Hi all,
I wanna run a online store with whole English to offer things for all the foreigners in Chengdu, which the store includes various of delicacy or goods all over the world.
Are you interested in? Or is there anything you wanna to get from this online store?

Yes, just like 京东 or 淘宝。But it will be whole English website.
We wanna sell the kinds of edible things, such as dairy&milk, snack and beverage.
Usually, do you like or will you get these things online?
Mainly, we sells the foods you need and like, or the ones you cannot get from the supermarket. Maybe just a kind of chips of China or the milk of Australia.
Or we also can create a Wechat offical account. You can follow us just like the Facebook. We can publish the information about the goods or other things there, maybe just one learning of Chinese word or phrase. And you can communicate to us if you have questions or problems of living in Chengdu.
Anyway, we wanna offer you to live in Chengdu at ease.
It might be the same as to the type of the products. Waifood offers the imported food, i think i can tell you some differences between our store to Waifood.
First, we do not just want to offer foods, we want to offer the foods that you really need and which you always can not get from here. So, we are not just selling, we want to sell the things that fits your need.
Second, we do not just offer imported food. We also offer domestic food. There are many good foods in China, even just in Chengdu. We also wanna to offer these things and make it spread over all the foreigners in Chengdu or even the world.
Third, we do not just offer foods. We also offer living service in Chengdu. I think many of you might have some problems of living in Chengdu, maybe solve some language problem, or even orgnize some like gathering a hot pot event.\(^o^)/~
All in all, we do not just want to offer foods. We want to offer service which can make all of you living in Chengdu at ease, even living as the native ones. You can treat us like a small store near your house, you can come now and then to buy some things you need and like, and have some chatting with us like friends, maybe the confusing things of yours, or the interesting stories. (∩_∩)
There’s also an online store (accessed through WeChat) called Baopals that helps you order items from TaoBao, JD, and other online stores, not sure about food though Everything is translated and I heard their customer service is good. You can check them for reference. WeChat ID: baopals

Other than the excellent Chinese language options (1haodian/Taobao/Jingdong) Carrefour just put out an app for ordering food, and it’s in both Chinese and English. If I were you I’d find a different niche, it’s not diffcult anymore to buy Western foods here…

And, there’s a new METRO in the south near Huayang, next to the ITO YOKADO. One more place to buy western food, good beef, etc.
Got to agree with OLSEN…Can’t imagine a large need for food shopping with waifood and all the rest. Maybe the “community” idea would have some legs to it, but…………..
