Hi do you need a local tour guide or I would say translator ? I can give advice and take you around in the city and somewhere outside the city within 1 hour drive based on your needs, like hugging the panda l0l. In the city we can use subway or bike, and outside the city we can use my car. The rate is 150USD a day including transportation. I pay my own food. And if you want a laid back atmosphere, I would like to recommend you just stay in the People’s Park and drink a cup of tea, and relax and watch the local people for a whole day ! And there are some nice bars in Yulin of Wuhou District. Also many nice clubs and restaurants in Chengdu but it depends on what you like .
Hi, I am new to Wenjiang too. I am a Chinese, just moved to Wenjiang from Chengdu recently, and looking for friends have common topics or hobbies to hang out. I like sports, biking and camping etc. It would be nice to hang out to look for food and interesting nice coffee places too. Chinese tutor was at some point my interest but not now, would be volunteer to teach you some simple everyday language though so you can survive without a local 🙂 If interested, you can contact me via [email protected].
@Dan I actually don’t do any marketing research yet 🙂 But as far as I know, if you hire a interpreter for tourism, they charges 800RMB a day in Chengdu. And I offer both transportation and translation, so should be very competitive LOL
Hi Wazza I can drive you there with my car with 600RMB a day including round trip from Chengdu to Xiling snow mountain, helping you to buy the tickets, and getting the gears you need, and maybe help you to book a hotel if you need, or any other translations you need. But the hotels in Xiling Mountain is quite expensive, last December I paid around 700RMB for a very basic room, less than three stars. I can send you there Saturday morning and pick you up Sunday.
