AmCham Independence Day Charity 6/29

The American Chamber of Commerce Southwest China is hosting its annual American Independence Day celebration on June 29th at the Crowne Plaza Panda Garden. This event attracts about 1000 people every year. The Crowne Plaza Panda Garden is a new hotel opened just this year and features a large outdoor space, swimming pool, and private beach (bring your swimsuit).

Additionally there will be live music, fireworks, plenty of food, beer, and entertainment for all ages. There will also be a raffle for highly valued prizes donated from AmCham member companies (tickets for international flights, dental cleaning, hotel stays).

Proceeds from this event will go towards the Ya’an earthquake relief.

Tickets are 200 RMB for AmCham members (300 for non-members)

Basically a sandy area by the outdoor pool. I haven’t seen it myself yet, but I hear it’s quite nice.
