thxFebruary 6, 2015 at 12:30 am #44470pikachuParticipantthe only place in chengdu i have even seen records is at the ‘yaksa skate shop’ in the avant garde block at chunxi lu (its right next to ‘silver mall’ but underground)

but im not sure if its actually any good for vinyls. the first time i went there was a box there, but other times ive been its not been there. They have a load in the windows but im not sure if they are actually for sale/just empty sleves….

February 7, 2015 at 3:52 pm #44487CharlieKeymasterThere are a few small shops around Chunxi Lu but the records I’ve seen for sale there are really old and dusty, often very expensive also. There’s nothing really here for vinyl listeners, from what I can tell. Shit, even in NYC you have slim pickings for vinyl record shops.

Anyway… what I want to say is check around… maybe you get some tips here but Ive seen so many vinyl and other music stuff while walking around in Chengdu so be prepared and bring your cash… they might not be at the same place when you come the next time…

Hey Pikachu! Would you mind sharing the addresses of the shops you’ve found? Always down to check out some vinyl. Thanks very much!
