Greetings,
Truecolor Music Club is opening in April a new club on Sao Ling Road and we are seeking professional foreigner workers for immediate start. We are looking mainly European foreigner individuals that are capable of working in a high standard environment but also enjoying the must of the Chengdu nightlife and will be offered above the market salary rates amongst other benefits
The positions available at the moment are:
– Singer* (to backup singing in live concerts and entertainment shows.
– Bartender
– Dancer
– Sales Assistant (well presented males should be taller than 180 cms)
– Security (preferred African nationals)
* We are focused on recruiting singers (x5 people) and we will provide paid training, so if you have any friends that want to join this part-time role, please pass the word.

Hmmm the whole ad smells like fail?
Its simple, let me explain you again, a new night club is going to open + the need foreign workers = good part-time jobs for someone that is interested.
Check the club on the internet. Google, it is not in Chengdu Living, what that may scare some of you.
So forget the stereotype discussion for once and leave others that may need a part-time job to apply. I often come to this forum and i know your humour and so…but can you try to restrain of buddy chat and allow people to do their work and others to find this forum useful?

Me too. But pleading for the regulars here to enlight me, why this should be considered a “advert like this” and “fail”?
I will remove this from here anyway, as i was hoping i could use the website to post a normal job advert here that would had to pass again from the escrutiny (sometimes wise sometimes just attention call) from some regular members here.
All legit here and to be honest, its quite a well paid part-time job. Some information is missing of course because it the ole job advert tricks that i wont explain..but good way to seperate the good candidates from the ones that apply without any experience, etc…
Thats no coincidence why people use more often gochengdoo forum to post job ads and even to have humours or serious forum chats there rather than here. This is just an hinty advice, take it or..dont take it. 🙂 not my forum

Listen Filipe, i see your point, i really do. I think everyone has a right to read an ad, but dude, think of it this way: no comments, the ad often goes ignored without being read. Lotsa comments, just like now, people notice it. Could even go viral. I would be happy if i were you. Good luck anyway.

I’ve worked in China nightlife for 7 years and have no idea what market wage is for a foreign club professional.
If you come here and exert minimal effort (many spelling mistakes, lacking details, etc) and say you’re looking for Africans to run security at a club, common sense tells me that you’re going to make some eyes roll.
