    Our family is considering buying a mini schnauzer or similar dog.  I’ve heard horror stories about people bringing sick dogs home only to have them die a few weeks later or spending tons on medical bills.  Does anyone have a breeder/ store/ area you trust?

    You might want to check out the pet market in Chengdu, which is near Qingshiqiao. There are a number of dog breeders there, you might be able to find what you’re looking for.
