Big Love Music Festival in Mianyang

Hi, I read that there is a music festival in Mianyang from Oct,1-Oct, 3. Especialy on the 2nd, it’ll be a rock theme thing. Cui Jian (the Chinese rock godfather)and some other famous Chinese rock bands are gonna be there.

Anyone interested? I can find out more info.

Thankfully it has been postponed. So now there is not two major festivals on the same weekend. Check out the Panda Fest if you’re interested in electronic music.

I look forward to checking out the Big Love Fest when it gets rescheduled.

Even when it was at the same time as the Panda Festival, I was going to skip it (despite Jeff Mills being there and then subsequently cut from the bill) since it’s being organized by an unknown and it’s in Mianyang.

Good thing it’s been postponed though. If there were three “music festivals” on the same weekend in and around Chengdu that would be really stupid.

They said next it’ll be held next May in Chengdu.

Is it actually going to happen might be a better question than when is it happening.
