    Any else seen the Bizarre Foods episode of Chengdu? I’m curious as to which restaurants they visited, especially the fancy one at the end. After being here for a few months, much the food doesn’t sound too bizarre anymore.

    Bizarre Foods: Chengdu

    I’ve been to Lodai (or however it is spelled) and it isn’t that good. As for the hot pot, my friends from Chongqing say that what is here is merely a poor imitation of what is from their hometown. I haven’t been there yet so I can’t say.

    I thought the BBC show was much more interesting
