    Just arrived to Chengdu a few days ago and have a bit of an issue. I have an American iPhone5 on an ATT contract. In Suzhou a year and a half ago, I was able to have that contract broken of an iPhone4 by bringing it to some dudes in Suzhou’s major tech hub and having them work their magic.

    Is there a similar place for tech here? I’m talking a big building with floors of different tech stalls, people selling, buying, gutting and rebuilding cameras, phones, comps, etc.

    Any leads? Or any other ideas as to how to unlock this sucker without buying out of contract?

    Computer city, corner 1st ring road and ren min nan lu. Floors 3 and up. I have seen magic and sorcery worked there….bring a talisman.
