City Guide/Chinese Tutor wanted…

I’m newly arrived in Chengdu, and am keen to get to grips with the city immediately. It would be great to find someone who is up for showing me around the city, better yet while helping me pick up the basics of Chinese (though this is secondary) at the same time.

I’m an English guy, especially keen on electronic music, film, food, keeping fit, and travel. I’m hoping you’re laid back, good fun, and know your way around without any fuss!

Not sure if this is too late to get back to you but I’ve just discovered this forum.

I was born and brought up in this city but studied and lived in Australia for 10 years.

I just got back home and plan to stay here for a while. I was a mandarin teacher in a school called Lyceum in Melbourne Australia. So I’m experienced in teaching basic mandarin in an relaxing way.

If you have already found someone to bring you around, then don’t worry about it. Otherwise, please let me know by replying to this message and we can go from there.
